Positive breastfeeding book

"I owe the success of my breastfeeding journey to Amy Brown. I can’t thank her enough. While pregnant with my first child I decided I wanted to give breastfeeding a try. In fact I really wanted to be successful with it as I loosely knew it was much better for the baby than formula. (Obviously now I understand breastmilk is far far superior!). With a lack of information anywhere else I decided to buy this book and I can honestly say it was the best thing I ever did ...Buy this book...read this book. It’s life changing!"

Let's talk about the first year of parenting

"This is the most WONDERFUL book, by far the best I have ever had. Amy writes so wonderfully and is so reassuring. I would describe it as like talking to a friend and having your feelings and thoughts validated. This book is an absolute must for those who are taking a gentle approach to parenting - I have and will continue to recommend this (or buy it for) to everyone I know who is expecting a baby. Thank you for making me feel sane and like I don't need to do something just because "it never hurt you" or "that's how I did it"."

Why breastfeeding grief & trauma matter

"This is such an important and hidden piece of work. In my work as an IBCLC I see the emotional fallout and sadness of unmet breastfeeding goals every week. This book is like a warm hug for parents whose journey has not been easy. It is unjudgmental and thoughtful, acknowledging the feelings that parents have. Thanks again Amy for a much needed and supportive book".

Why starting solids matters

"Couldn’t recommend this book more. As a health visitor it’s fantastic to read a book which has been written with parents in mind and gives them all the knowledge they need to help to ensure that their children have the best beginnings when it comes to starting their journey on diet and nutrition. I wish this had been around when my children were starting theirs".
